Dowling Hosts Bus Trip to PA Capitol
UNIONTOWN – Rep. Matthew Dowling (R-Fayette/Somerset) is hosting a bus trip to the State Capitol on Thursday, June 16. 

“Pennsylvanians are blessed to have such a beautiful state Capitol building that truly reflects the importance and impact of the work being done there,” Dowling said. “Whether you’ve made the trek to Harrisburg before or not, this trip is a great opportunity to see this magnificent building while letting someone else do the driving.”

The trip is being offered in partnership with Fayette County Community Action Agency and will include both a tour of the state Capitol and the State Museum. 

Cost of the trip is $55 per person for those who register during the “early bird” period between now and Thursday, April 14. Any remaining tickets will be available for $65 per person through the May 6 registration deadline. The price includes continental breakfast, lunch, museum admission, transportation and tip. 

Seating is limited and being offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Bus pickup locations are Uniontown Mall (1368 Mall Run Road, Uniontown); Mountain Fellowship Center (5034 National Pike, Markleysburg); and Casselman Market Plaza (3235 Chestnut Ridge Road, Grantsville, MD).

Tickets are available for purchase from Fayette County Community Action Agency, located at 108 N. Beeson Ave. in Uniontown. Checks should be made payable to FCCAA; no cash will be accepted.
