UNIONTOWN – Drug use is first and foremost a problem for the individual drug user. However, an individual’s drug use becomes a community drug problem when a significant number of people are engaging in epidemic use or when the community does not have adequate resources to deal with the problems that arise. In response to the community epidemic on addiction, State Rep. Matthew Dowling (R-Fayette/Somerset) has accounted the formation of a new Public Participation Panel on Addiction in the 51st District (PPP on Addiction).
