Matt Dowling (R-Fayette/Somerset) today announced that Meyersdale Area School District was one of many recipients of the Career Readiness Mini-Grant provided by the state Department of Labor and Industry and Team Pennsylvania. Meyersdale Area School District was awarded $2,855 for its Elementary Career Readiness Project.

Edgell attends Friendship Hill Elementary School in Port Marion.

The goal of this event is to bring members of the House Majority Policy Committee and House Transportation Committee to western Pennsylvania to show them what the area has to offer in terms of employment, culture, natural resources, and economic development.
