HARRISBURG – Rep. Matthew Dowling (R-Fayette/Somerset) today joined thousands of pro-life citizens and fellow lawmakers at the first ever March for Life and rally at the state Capitol in Harrisburg.
“Both the energy and urgency of the crowd was palpable,” Dowling said. “Under current pro-abortion laws, far too many innocent children are losing their lives already, and we have an administration in Washington that is looking to implement policies that will result in even more babies never having the chance at life.
“It has to stop. Today’s turnout gives me hope for the future of our unborn children,” he added.
Dowling had the opportunity to great more than 100 western Pennsylvania residents traveling to the Capitol with the Diocese of Greensburg.
“I deeply appreciate everyone who was able to take the time to travel to the Capitol today for this important event,” he said. “We can and will make a difference for our children.”
