WHAT: To further clear debris in the Youghiogheny River from the recent multimodal project in Ohiopyle, Rep. Matt Dowling’s (R-Fayette/Somerset) office and interested parties have coordinated a clean-up with professional contractors. Contracted, professional divers are scheduled to be onsite to reach deeper areas of the river. Park goers and boaters are advised of this community-driven work.

WHO: Dowling, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (District 12), Ohiopyle State Park, the Mountain Watershed Association, and Skelly and Loy, Inc.

WHEN: Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 8 a.m., with the anticipation that this may be a two-day project.

WHERE: Ohiopyle State Park, 124 Main Street, Ohiopyle. Cleanup will commence below all sides of the PA-381 Bridge, both upriver and downriver.
