UNIONTOWN – Rep. Matt Dowling (R-Fayette/Somerset) will be hosting his annual Small Business seminar on Thursday, March 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the Laurel Business Institute, 11 E. Penn St., Uniontown.
“Starting or maintaining your own business can prove to be quite difficult at times,” said Dowling. “This seminar builds a bridge between our community small business owners and local and state agencies, allowing them to openly discuss their questions and concerns about operating or establishing their business in our area.”
All local (current or aspiring) small business owners and managers are encouraged to attend this seminar, which will focus on the best practices and methods for operating or launching a small business in the 51st Legislative District. A small business resource panel with the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, Fay-Penn Economic Development Council and Somerset Trust, which includes local and state agency representatives, will be available to answer questions and provide insight.
The panel will consist of the following speakers:
• Donald “DJ” Poligone, One Stop Shop – Department of Community and Economic Development.
• James H. Kunkel, Saint Vincent Small Business Development Center.
• Dylan Sullivan, Sullivan Brothers Coffee Company.
Registration is required. If you are interested in attending this seminar, call Dowling’s district office at 724-438-6100 or visit RepDowling.com
